Cup Cards {to go} Valentine Kit Reveal

Hi there dear friends!!  It's time for the Cup Cards {to go} Valentine Kit reveal!!  Introducing Heartbreaker:
It's a sweet little kit filled with goodies to make a wide variety of cards! The first card I made with the kit feature some red and white polka dot Washi Tape.
I added some strips of Washi tape to the card and stamped a couple of flourishes and added some sweet little hearts to add to the color scheme and to pull the card together.  I used some rub-ons from the kit for the sentiment and created a little rolled felt flower.  This little card was inspired by Retro Sketches #48.  Such a fun sketch and perfect for Washi Tape.
Some of the papers in this kit are so pretty and work very well with a vintage theme.  The sweet little Vintage Valentine paper just cried out to be framed.  I just love all the sweet little images.
I added some sweet little buttons and hand dyed seam binding to compliment the images.  I added a couple of hand stamped tags to complete the card.
The next card continues on with the romantic theme.  I used to gorgeous floral patterned paper included in the kit and added the doily heart, some florals and some die cut letters.
The lace doily and the lace trim are perfect additions to this romantic card and I also love all the pink goodness included in the kit.  Soooo fun and very pretty!
This sweet little kit also has some pretty little purple embellishments.  I love the purple ribbon and the purple and pink heart is way cute!!  I added some pink and purple rub-ons and some felt hearts and purple confetti pieces.  The color scheme in this card totally makes me happy!
I could use these lace doilies again and again!  They are so perfect for Valentines!! I love them!
The last card was motivated by the sketch of the month. I used some cut outs from one of the papers and added a sweet little embellishment cluster featuring one of the little vintage images from one of the papers included in the kit.
This embellishment cluster is my favorite from the kit!!  A little pink along with a vintage image makes my heart happy indeed!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful evening!!

Glitz Design only gets better and better!! The Love you Madly line is one of my new favorites and I'm sure you're going to fall in love with it too!
This first card is layered with Love You Madly patterned papers, a lacy little Peek a Boo and a fun little film strip Whatnot.  I love, love, love the filmstrip!! Soooo very fun!
I added a little stamped heart and flowers that I adhered with dimensional tape.  Love a little dimension for sure!  Oh, and did I mention how cute the Love you Madly Paper Garland is!!  Sooo way cute!  I think that I love this line madly!!!
The colors in the Love You Madly line are absolutely gorgeous and the Washi Tapes are my favorite!! I just had to decorate the inside of the card with all of the Love You Madly goodness!  This card was based on Sweet Sunday Sketch #176.  Love Sweet Sunday Sketches!!
I am totally in love with the colors in this second card!!  I started with a layer of Love You Madly Floral and topped it with two different Whatnot layers.  I added a beautiful Peek a Boo doily on top.
To embellish the card I used a Love You Madly Giant Rhinestone and Paper Garland.  I also added a hand dyed seam binding bow and pearl.  Such a quick and easy card, but very rich in color and thought!  The sentiment on the doily is absolutely fabulous and the font is gorgeous!
The inside of the card features a layer of the Love You Madly Floral paper, the back side of the Stripe paper, and a little Paper Garland piece.

Make it Monday

Happy Monday sweet friends!  I've been having some fun with my new PTI stamps and thought I would play along with this week's Make It Monday Challenge.  Here's the challenge:

Make It Monday #100: How to Package Cards with Oversized Embellishments

and here's my take on the challenge:
I used PTI's new Hands of Time stamps and dies.  I am totally loving this new set so much!! There are so many possiblities and I know I will be using them very often!!   For the card I used the  Casual Friday #86 ChallengeCreate a CAS card that has one long side and one short side. My card is 4 x 6 a little different from the normal A2 card.  Since the clock hangs off the edge, I decided not put any numbers on it, but I look forward to using the number dies soon!  They are awesome!  I used some Glitz Design Love You Madly Stripe Washi Tape to decorate the edge of my card and I kept the card simple keeping in line with the CAS card theme.
To finish up the MIM challenge, I used a Glassine Bag to store my card.  I die cut a tag and layered a clock on top and added a bow.  Pretty quick and simple and I love it!!
Supplies Used:
Glitz Design Love You Madly Stripe Washi Tape
Glitz Design Love You Madly Ampersand Paper
Papertrey Ink Smoky Shadow and Rustic Cream Paper
Papertrey Ink Smoky Shadow Ink
Papertrey Ink Hands of Time Stamps and Dies

Glitz Design Color Me Happy

Happy Sunday everyone!!  I am so excited to share my first project made with new Glitz Design Products!!  How can you not like a line that's named, Color Me Happy!!  Just the name sets my creative juices on fire!!  I know I say it all the time, but I just love Glitz Design!!  The card was inspired by Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge #99.   I don't know if it really qualifies for the challenge since I used patterned paper for the rainbows, but I was still inspired by the challenge.  I decided to get out my cute little Winter Penguin set and make a colorful winter card.  It doesn't get any more fun than this!!
I used Glitz Design's Color Me Happy Rainbow Chevron Washi Tape to create a frame around the edge of the card.   I fussy cut the hearts from the Color Me Happy Hearts paper.  I layered a snowflake, the penguins and a colorful Title Sticker from the Color Me Happy Line.  I embellished the card with a portion of the Color Me Happy Paper Garland and a bright orange bow.
I layered a little arrow on top of the title sticker and embellished it with some little rhinestones that I tinted with an orange Copic Marker.

I decorated the inside with Color Me Happy Rainbow Stripe Washi Tape, a stamped penguin and a fussy cut heart.
Supplies Used:
Glitz Design Color Me Happy Papers:  Hearts
Glitz Design Color Me Happy Rainbow Chevron  and Rainbow Stripe Washi Tape
Glitz Design Color Me Happy Titles Stickers
Glitz Design Color Me Happy Paper Garland
Papertrey Ink Winter Penguin Stamps and Dies
Papertrey Ink Stamper's Select White Paper and Orange Zest Cardstock
Papertrey Ink Orange Zest and Enchanted Evening Ink
Papertrey Ink Orange Zest Ribbon
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
WPlus9 Simple Snowflake Die

I was also inspired by the Word Art Wednesday Challenge #62 - Hearts/Anything Goes and
Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #193 - Penguins.  I am so thankful for those who provide challenges to inspire us!!  Thank you so very much!!

Thanks for stopping by everyone and I hope you have a great week!

A Little Cashmere Dame Love With Glitz Design

Good Morning Dear friends!! I have a little Cashmere Dame love to share with you!!  My first card to share with you today is very special to me! My sweet daughter's birthday is this week and I wanted to make her a very special card and I'm loving the way it turned out!
I started off with a die cut base and added some layers using some papers from the 6x6 Cashmere Dame pad.  Next I added a Cashmere Dame Journaling Sticker that I stamped with a sweet little Flurries of Love stamp.  Then I stamped the adorable little girl on the blue stripe, the solid blue and the light pink papers from the 6x6 pad and then fussy cut them out and glued the pieces to the little girl.
I added some Cashemere Dame Paper Garland, lace, glitter, a hand dyed seam binding ribbon, button and hand stamped sentiment.
In the next card, I layered several different patterns from the 6x6 Cashmere Dame pad.  The colors are so fun and I had a blast playing with them!!!  Who doesn't love a bowl full of cherries??
I created a tag using a sticker from the Cashmere Dame Titles Stickers and a fun little Cashmere Dame Glitzer Sticker.  I added some little hearts and rhinestones to the cherries for a fun little touch.
I cut out the diva from another piece of patterned paper and made some stripes with the banners from the same paper. I added a hand dyed seam binding ribbon and a little bauble from my stash.  The inside of the card was printed on my computer and I also used the fun little cherry Glitzer.  The embellishments in the Cashmere Dame line are fabulous!
Supplies Used:
Glitz Design Cashmere Dame 6x6 Paper Pad
Glitz Design Cashmere Dame Glitzers
Glitz Design Cashmere Dame Titles Stickers

Happy New Year - One Little Word 2013

Happy New Year dear friends!!  I hope 2013 finds you healthy and happy!!  As I contemplate the year past, I am amazed at how much has changed and how far I have come!  My One Little Word for 2012 was Trust.  It was a good word for what I thought would transpire and even though the events of 2012 didn't quite happen as I thought they would, Trust was the perfect word for the year.  My hubby and I learned to trust wholly and completely on the Lord and I am so thankful for each and every joy and each and every trial that took place in 2012.  We have been so blessed and have come through the fire changed and better for it!  Thanks be to God for He does know what is best for us!

My hubby and I took a little walk along the Gallatin River and it was a very good time to reflect and contemplate my One Little Word for 2013.  When I look on His amazing creation, I am in awe of the beauty that is all around me!  He is Awesome indeed!
I want to have deep roots in Christ, just like this tree. I want to plant my roots in Christ and let him be the foundation for my life. I want to be strong in my faith, just as I've been taught. And I want to be grateful.
There was a spot of sunshine during out walk and it added such a luster to the scene, just as I want the Lord to shine through me.
May my life be peaceful, just like the river.  May I allow him to lead me and guide me and not be anxious about anything.
These little foot prints remind me about how much God cares for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field.  How much more does He care for us.  Sigh....we are blessed indeed!
It was a glorious day and as I enjoyed looking back over all the photos we took during the day my One Little Word came to me.  This photo with the branches in the foreground and the mountains in the background was in perfect focus.  How much more does my life need to stay in focus.  Focus on God in the foreground and all the other things in the background.  Focus on what's important and letting go of that which is not.  May I focus on what God has in store, what he can do, and in what he has created me to be in 2013!!!
I wish you an amazing and wonderful 2013!!
I can't wait to see what it will bring!!

May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you,
and give you peace.
